In October, Esports Insider spoke with Overholt about the franchise’s branding, being the only Canadian team in the league, and franchising in esports. When discussing the brand, he explained that “there’s a lot of pseudo-seriousness to this title in particular, but what our fans told us consistently was that this is what they do for fun.
So, as a brand, what we’ve tried to do is land on that nicely.”
