Pandemic’s Arrival on the Epic Games Store has been Delayed | Kotaku UK

The Epic Games Store has been busy giving away a free game each week for months now, and it currently shows no sign of stopping.Players can currently get their hands on Farming Simulator 19 , and later this week, three digital board games were set to make their way into rotation – but one has been removed.
French board game developer Asmondee Digital confirmed last week it would be giving away three of its games for free, ahead of their official arrival on the store.Ticket to Ride, Carcassone, and Pandemic were all due to be given away for free, but while the first two titles are still available, the latter will no longer be available.
In a statement (via PC Gamer ), the Epic confirmed that “we’ve shifted the release of Pandemic as a free game in out store to a later date.” The publisher hasn’t provided an explanation for the change, but it seems pretty likely that the decision is linked to the coranavirus outbreak, which has now killed more than 400 people.Pandemic tasks players with contain deadly diseases as they spread across the world.
The outbreak has seen a number of other gaming-related side-effects, from a spike in sales of Plague Inc.
