Lenovo renews sponsorship deal with Circuito Brasileiro de Counter Strike By – April 27, 2021

Computer manufacturer Lenovo has renewed its sponsorship deal with the Circuito Brasileiro de Counter Strike ( CBCS ).

As a result of the renewal, the firm’s Legion brand will be promoted throughout the tournament.Credit: CBCS

Legion by Lenovo is the first sponsor to be officially announced for CBCS’ 2021 season.

Financial details have not been revealed, however, the partnership has renewed for a year with Legion providing the tournament with notebooks, monitors, and other peripherals from the brand.Additionally, Lenovo will focus on creating a variety of content for social media and during the league’s transmission throughout the year.

Miah Campos, Head of CBCS Operations , spoke on the deal in a release: “We are very happy, Lenovo is a very important partner and this renewal that also validates the goals we have for the Counter-Strike scenario in Brazil from 2021 onwards”.

The Circuito Brasileiro de Counter Strike was created by DC Set Group , Grupo Globo , Gamers Club , Gaules and Omelete Company .The competition’s first regional major, the CBCS Elite League Season 1, is already underway and features the likes of MIBR , Isurus , Sharks Esports and INTZ.

The victor will walk away with R$40,000 (~£5,304) and 1600 Regional Major Rankings: South America points.The team with the most cumulative amount of RMR points by October will qualify as South America’s representative for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

it’s a Regional Major, which will give points for the ranking that will qualify the teams for the Major.MIBR , Isurus , Sharks Esports and INTZ are some of the teams that are featured in the tournament.

Esports Insider says: CBCS it’s one of the biggest Counter Strike: Global Offensive leagues that are current happening in Brazil, and being a league that can qualify teams for the Major, certainly grabs the attention for companies that want to be more present in the CS:GO ecosystem..
